Moving beyond similar home-makeover shows, BUILD IT FORWARD sees the recipient family receive the goodwill and grace of donations and volunteers in the creation of their new home, and in turn help build a new home for another family – this time in a third world country. Each episode documents the life-changing impact of “giving back” and the poignant experience of not one, but two families being handed the keys to a previously only-dreamt-of, brand new home.
